Son Cosmet is an old majorcan possessió of 150 ha. The construction, that began in the 13th century and with a 16th century defense tower, is unique in its environment because of its ancient features. The gardens with terraces, ponds and an incredible swimming-pool include a very old cave, a big natural trough, a mill tower, a prehistoric stone tower, a medieval threshing floor. The rooms,follow the traditional majorcan canons however, they have confortable beds, bathroom with independent bath and shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, internet connection and real antiques in its decoration

This building is a former monastery from the 17th century, is located in the Valley of Orient, surrounded by the majestic mountain range of the Tramuntana. Is an ideal area for easy hikes, complex ascents or cycling.The hotel consists of a main building where can be found the bar, an old chapel, lounges, some of the rooms and the reception and also there is probably the oldest oil mill in all of Majorca. The oil mill was rebuilt and is now a beautiful à la-carte restaurant. Guests can also dine on the terrace in the courtyard of the monastery or in the lounge terrace and from there enjoy the view of the impressive stone arches and the water tower. The hotel has rooms all of them are stylish and are elegantly furnished and offer all the comfort you can expect to enjoy an unforgettable stay.
