The hotel is located on the Central Coast in the Costa Brava region, in front of the beach and a 2-minute walk from the village port in the lovely Palamos village. Links to the public transport network are directly in front of the hotel and Girona-Costa Brava Airport is the nearest airport, 40 km away.The hotel was built in 1900 and a complete renovation and restoration of the hotel, including the 83 cosmo style rooms, was undertaken in 2005. Focused on customer comfort, the hotel offers guests all the latest modern conveniences, including air conditioning and WiFi Internet access in all public areas and in the rooms. Shared facilities include a lobby area, a hotel safe, lift access and conference facilities. Guests can relax in the hotel's café or bar, or dine in the restaurant. A laundry service is provided and guests arriving by car can use the hotel's car park.All rooms come with two bed side by side, like a king size bed but really are 2 beds and a well-equipped bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Individually regulated air conditioning, central heating, satellite TV, Internet access, a telephone and a safe also come with the rooms as standard. This historic hotel is located in the Paratge Torre Mirona in the area known as The Castle, the only virgin sandy beach on the Costa Brava. This belongs to the municipality of Palamos, and is included in the Plan of Natural Areas of Interest Castell-Cap Roig. Girona Costa Brava Airport is about 60 km away, while El Prat De Llobregat Airport, Barcelona is approximately 130 km away.The hotel occupies an old house fortified with a rectangular tower. The building dates back to 1572. It has 14 suites, 11 inside the house and 3 outside. It is orientated towards customer comfort, and offers the most modern facilities and amenities. Air conditioning, a lobby, Internet and WLAN access are all offered. A cosy meeting room with a sober atmosphere and pure design also features. A hotel safe, lift access, a café, bar, restaurant, laundry service and a cycle hire service are also provided.
