Casa do Governor is a centennial house located in an ecological reserve area, with 30 Hectares, just 3 Km from the center of Évora and 500m from Convento de Espinheiro.Restored in 2012 and having emerged as an infirmary and quarantine quarters of the ancient friars of Convento do Espinheiro, it is now renovated keeping its original features with a contemporary rustic decoration. Through the adaptation, reuse and use of existing materials, it was possible to obtain unique and original solutions linked to the history of the House.Casa do Governador offers 7 rooms exclusively for you, with 3 typologies at your disposal, Wi-Fi inside the accommodation, outdoor pool, bar and parking.The rooms of this country house show an unusual style and design with a lot of personality, in some rooms it is possible to see an elegant four-poster bed, original headboards, air conditioning and central heating, referring us to the century but always with a foot in the present.In the Main House you can find the reception, dining room, library and an Alentejo kitchen in which the original features were kept.In Casa do Governor it is possible to make bicycle tours through the farm, wine tastings with regional products and also excursions to the wineries of the region and places of historical interest.
