Breakfast was very good and the staff in the restaurant were excellent. Very friendly and attentive.

        Negative review

Although it’s not a reason to stay in a hotel TV was stuck on 1 channel and needed to be replaced. (Not during my stay though). But the main issue I had was that at 3am then 6am the radiator started to make banging noises which woke us both up. Not getting back to sleep after that! They did however invite us for a complementary breakfast and waiver the £10 parking fee. Worst nights sleep I think I’ve ever had in a hotel.

        Positive review

The hotel is in the centre of Chester, very close to the tourist information centre and the shops. Ideal for a city break. Rooms very nice and they took our bags to our room while we went out. Staff very friendly. Very impressed with their cruelty free bathroom toiletries.

        Negative review

The breakfast was luke warm and we didn't have much of a window in our room which was disappointing since we'd spent extra on an executive room. We also had to leave the window open all night as it was hot even with the air conditioning on.
