        Positive review

        The location and the beach facilities are second to none on the island. For the price, this knocks the socks off hotels and resorts on the more expensive west coast of the island. You are also walking distance to the bars and restaurants in The Gap and a stone's throw from the lively little town of Oistens. Don't miss the Friday night "Fish Fry" party!

        Negative review

        This is quite expensive for what you might get at international hotels around the world. But Barbados is very expensive, I guess. The level of service varied from one extreme to another. At times, the front desk, housekeeping and baggage team could not have been more helpful and cheery. Some times the waiting staff in the restaurants were outright rude, wearing frowns and looks that could kill and almost deliberately unhelpful or obstructive. It is a shame that some bad apples let down a team that was obviously working hard to be professional and friendly.
