Nha Trang is a coastal city in South Central Vietnam, on the Pacific Ocean.
Its spectacular beaches, where turquoise water washes over white sand, alternate with coves, cliffs and mountains; for this reason it is considered to be to most picturesque of Vietnamese beach destinations.
Nha Trang is the capital of Khanh Hoa province, and is an important port. Here, the range of both cuisine and hotels is excellent. You can try the curious local fruit, the pitaya, or dragon fruit, which is a native of Nha Trang.
To the east of the train station is the neo-Gothic cathedral, and you can also visit the Cham de Po Nagar Towers. Behind the Chua Long Son is an ancient pagoda, with a gigantic Buddha on the summit of a hill.
Dalat is one of Vietnam's most important mountain destinations, and is known as the city of Eternal Spring.
It is interesting to see the place's mansions, built into the hillsides. You can visit the Hang Nga Guesthouse and Art Gallery, and the artworks of the Bao Dai Emperor's Palace.
In the Valley of Love you can take a boat out on the lake, and cycling and horse riding are common here.
