Yuma is a city in the US state of Arizona.
It is a place that offers many points of interest for visitors. The history of this mythical terrain is best appreciated by visiting the Yuma Crossing Historic Park, the Yuma Territorial Prison, built in 1876 and currently a museum, and the city centre. Yuma is surrounded by nature. The lovely scenery of Lakes Martínez and Mittry and of the Kofa Mountains make this a privileged place from an aesthetic point of view, with varied flora and fauna, and good conditions for hunting and fishing.
There are deer, goats and coyotes in the area, while in certain seasons you can also find partridge and pigeons. The Cotton Dunes are an ideal for speed freaks, as there is nothing more exciting than riding miles of sandy dunes in a 4x4. There are also good camping sites in the region.
