The city of Memphis is in the western part of the US state of Tennessee, overlooking the Mississippi River.

We also highly recommend going to the National Civil Rights Museum, which is where Martin Luther King was assassinated. It was later restored and turned into a museum.
You should also take the time to see the Pink Palace Museum, which tells the city’s story and houses several interesting exhibits. Memphis also offers you the chance to do some good shopping in the city’s numerous malls.
