The Florida Keys are an archipelago located in southeastern United States. It stretches in an arc along the Florida Straits, closet o Miami at one end and Cuba at the other.

The climate in this lovely area is tropical and the islands have habitats ranging from flatland forests and swamps to radiant coastline. Much of the area is protected by National Parks, such as Dry Tortugas Park in Key West, famous for its marine life and colourful coral reefs and for the many legends associated to it relating to lost treasure and shipwrecks.

There is plenty to see and do in the Florida Keys, with fishing, diving, sailing, kayaking and walking all on offer. The archipelago is divided into several areas, each with different attractions. In Key Largo you should visit the John Pennekamp State Park, on Islamorada lovers of fishing will be well catered for, while those looking for a place to rest and relax should head for Marathon. The Lower Keys are ideal for diving in some of the best submarine scenery in the area. Key West, meanwhile, has lots of atmosphere and nightlife around Duval Street.
