There exists here a curious variety of fruit trees that bear witness to a community that once settled in the narrow River Fremont valley. The fruit of these trees includes apples, pears, peaches, cherries, apricots, blackberries and plums. Other places of interest are Fruita Schoolhouse and Gifford Homestead.
