Originally 3 Edwardian houses built for local sea captains with the Hain Shipping Company, Chy-an-Albany was converted to a hotel in the 1920s. The hotel has been tastefully refurbished retaining much of the charm of the original building. The hotel also offers its brand new art-themed restaurant which opened in 2010- The Lighthouse Bistro showcases a wide range of art from local artists including Lamorna Penrose to Cathrine Stringer.
