Chester is an English town located on the border with Wales. It is the county town of Cheshire and it is set on the River Dee.
The town is surrounded by Roman and medieval town walls. It also has an impressive cathedral and excellent shopping.
Chester has many attractions, such as the Cheshire Military Museum, an innovative and interesting museum with special activities, events and exhibitions throughout the year. Here it is possible to see over 7,000 animals of 500 different species; Chester Zoo makes for a fun, exciting day out for visitors of all ages.
