Trang is one of the 14 provinces in the south of Thailand, on the west coast of the Malaca peninsula, which is connected with the country's central zone by the narrow Kra isthmus.
Trang is very famous for its underwater weddings, in which the participants dive among some of the world's most impressive corral reef, in the Andaman Sea. The province is also characterised by the enormous plantations of rubber trees, spectacular waterfalls, beautiful beaches with limestone cliffs, lakes, rivers, thick vegetation and dreamlike landscapes. The area is ideal for all kinds of water sports, as well as trekking, walking and climbing. The most important beach is Chang Lang Beach, from where you can see some of the neighbouring islands. The south of Thailand has any number of attractions: the waterfalls of Sai Renglon, Phrai Sawan, Lam Plok, Chong Banphot, Te Namtok Ton, Ton Tok and a trip to the Tham Khao Kop cave is an unforgettable experience.
