Malmo is one of Sweden's largest cities. It has a great many tourist attractions and places of historical interest. Here you can find a number of beaches, and Ribersborg is a beautiful example, found to the west of the port. This is a city that has important festivals, and one of these is the Malmöfestivalen, which is the biggest festival of the year. It lasts eight days, and it presents more than 250 music concerts, a great deal of Swedish food, an amusement park, art works and many other things. Malmo is a wonderful place from the architectural and cultural point of view. For example, Malmohus Castle was built in the 15th century, and today it houses a group of museums open to the public.
