Tenerife is the largest of Spain’s Canary Islands, a place of untamed nature that is ideal for anyone looking for a good time. It is situated in the Atlantic Ocean, close to the African coast.
The capital of the island is Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on the eastern point. The south side of the island is the area most popular with young people. There are various recreational parks such as the Loro Parque Zoo (Parrot Zoo Park), an extensive animal welfare foundation. There is also the Parque de la Jungla, with its beautiful bird sanctuary.
