San Sebastian, located in the Basque Country in the north of Spain, is a coastal city. It is the capital of Guipuzcoa, a small province that has a rich history.
The city is set on a bay, known as La Concha, which consists of two long beaches and an island. The seafront area is perfect for a stroll to enjoy the lovely setting and the interesting attractions. One that should not be missed is the Palacio de Miramar, built in the English style in 1893. The palace's gardens are very beautiful and they have an excellent view of the bay.
San Sebastian is a small city with a certain French atmosphere about it, and many visitors come and later return. It has a varied cultural life, with festivals such as the San Sebastian International Cinema Festival, as well as many museums and theatres.
