The Region of Navarre is located in the north of the Iberian Peninsula, in Spain. Navarre is bordered on the north by the French region of Atlantic Pyrenees, to the southeast by the region of Aragon, to the south by La Rioja and to the west by the Basque Country. The capital is Pamplona.
Other important towns in the region include Tudela, which has an important Muslim and Jewish component to its history. Here, ancient and modern buildings live side by side. Another place is the town of Olite, with its impressive architecture of walls, castles, palaces and chapels.
We also recommend visiting Puente la Reina on the Santiago Way, where you can see the Church of Santiago and the Church of the Crucifix (12th century). Don't miss the town of Estella either.
