Hotels in Menorca

Menorca is one of the most important of the Spanish Balearic Islands.

The island has some lovely Mediterranean scenery and it has managed to conserve its natural treasures well, with many nature reserves. In fact, in 1993 UNESCO declared the island a Biosphere Reserve.

Among the most visited site in Menorca is the Albufera d'es Grau National Park, a paradise for migratory birds, fish, reptiles and many plant and animal species.

However, Menorca is perhaps best known for its beaches. There are a large number, with one to suite everyone. There are broad, sandy beaches, hidden coves and the southern beaches, with white sand and turquoise water, which contrasts with the green of the pines along the shoreline.

Menorca also has many museums: the Museum of Nature; the Menorca Museum, which tells the history of the island; the Ciutadella Municipal Museum, and many more.

Menorca is a natural paradise for all the senses.
