Hotels in Granada

Granada is a city and the capital of the province of Granada in Andalusia, Spain. It is also the ancient capital of the medieval Kingdom of Granada. It is located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, at the confluence of the Genil, Darro and Beiro rivers.

Granada has a wide range of attractions and things to do. We recommend you visit the Alhambra (""the red""), the best-preserved Islamic palace in the world. You can also visit the gardens of the Generalife, located right outside the Alhambra. These beautiful gardens are full of fountains and have been carefully designed with the most delicate floral displays.

The visitor is also recommended to visit: the Cathedral; the impressive Gothic Royal Chapel, which dates back to 1505; the Lonja, built in the 16th century; the Alcaicería, an old Arab silk market; the Albaicín neighbourhood; the Sacromonte caves; the Corral del Carbón Islamic monument; and the San Jerónimo Renaissance church, among others.

Granada is a city that is well worth visiting for its cultural and historic monuments as well as for its lovely natural scenery. Come and visit it!

Our travellers’ opinions on Granada

  • Granada te envuelve

      by   Diana

  • Visita a Granada

      by   Vicente
