  Travel snobs may think that there’s nothing remotely Spanish about taking a holiday in Playa del Ingles. OK, so this may be a holiday holding pen for Northern European sun bunnies but at the same time it is a prime example of the ultimate Spanish seaside resort. And who can moan, when an entire nation has created a seaside spot so you don’t even need to bring a phrase book. There’s no battling with weird food on the menus here, and as for getting around, just ask anyone. Most of the resort workers can speak English and German. That said, Playa del Ingles during the day does have a more upmarket feel than other Spanish seaside resorts. After hours, it’s becomes pretty indistinguishable. But what better than getting out and joining the drinkers? If you go wild, then noone really cares. The locals don't really live here so shouldn't be too offended by Brits rolling round the streets plastered. As they say, if you can't beat them...�
