The Costa de Azahar is the Mediterranean area situated in the province of Castellón, in Spain. Among its most important destinations are: Vinaroz, Benicarló, Peñíscola, and Castellón de la Plana, among other important cities.
The costa de Azahar possesses warm and delicate beaches, picturesque and rustic coves, all of them fed by the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, it also offers an ample variety of leafy forests with pines and oaks, and enormous valleys filled with orange trees, and their lovely flowers the azahar (orange blossom), which give the area its name.
The area also offers a wide variety of theme parks, we recommend that you visit the Jardín del Papagayo (garden of the parrot), an exotic bird sanctuary between the towns of Peñíscola and Benicarló, and Aquarama, a water park located in Benicàssim. The park offers an ample range of attractions, among them are an enjoyable wave pool, slides, water falls and a spa.
