The Costa Brava is a section of the Spanish Mediterranean coastline. It is found in the province of Girona and it runs from the mouth of the River La Tordera, near Blanes, and ends at the French border.
The Costa Brava is characterised by its natural spaces, its pleasant climate and its attractive beaches, a perfect combination for those looking to relax for a while.
One of its main attractions are the bays located near the town of Begur, and the impressive cliffs and rocky inlets that give the ""wild coast"" its name will take your breath away. You can visit Sa Tuna, Aiguablava and Sa Riera, some of the loveliest coves on the Costa Brava.
Another interesting site in the zone is the Medes Islands, located centrally on the Costa Brava. There are seven islands in this marine reserve and you can see plants and animals in their natural state, as well as enjoy the splendid landscape provided by the islands.
