The city of Cordoba in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, in Spain. It is the capital of the province of the same name; it sits on the banks of the Guadalquivir and at the feet of the ‘Sierra Morena’. The city posses an important cultural and historical heritage, and for that reason the historical centre of the city has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We recommend that you visit the Mosque cathedral, a building with tremendous historical, architectural, and artistic value, which demonstrates a perfect combination of Muslim and Christian civilisations. We also recommend that you take a walk around the Jewish district, or Alcázar, of the Christian Kings (18th century), the Roman bridge (1st century) and the old Muslim city of Medina Azahara, where you can view the ruins of this once beautiful millenarian city.
