The Limpopo-Kruger zone is located in the exotic country of South Africa.
Limpopo is the most northerly province in the country, with the name deriving from the important River Limpopo, Africa's second longest river at 1600 km. To the east and south of the provinces of Mpumalanga and Limpopo is South Africa's largest nature reserve, the Kruger National Park. This fascinating place is home to a wealth of plant and animal life, with more than 500 species of bird, 147 species of mammal and 200 species of reptile, fish and amphibian.
An encounter with African wildlife is an incredible experience. It is possible to see wild animals close up on a safari through the reserve, which can be done on foot or in a special vehicle. Visiting Kruger National Park will let you see the savannah in all its splendour.
