Cluj-Napoca, the capital of Transylvania, is one of the most important cities in Romania. One of the most popular places to visit in Cluj-Napoca is its Botanical Garden, which covers 14 hectares of land belonging to the Babes-Bólyai University. The garden has examples of all of the plants that grow naturally in Romania, as well as some beautiful varieties from around the world, such as palm trees and orchids, among others. There is also a Japanese garden on the grounds, which has a lovely stream and a typical Japanese palace, and a Roman garden, which contains archeological artifacts from Roman Empire’s Napoca province. Cluj-Napoca is a multi-cultural city; most of the population is of Hungarian and Romanian descent. It is a beautiful place that has some much for you to see and do.
