Sul do Tejo is one of the nineteen freguesias (civil parishes) that make up the municipality of Abrantes in Portugal. Portugal has 4257 freguesias (according to data from 2004); these are the civil representatives of the Old Catholic parishes, in many cases arising from medieval ecclesiastic units. The Ribeirinho de Abrantes City Park lies next to the river Tejo in Rossio ao Sul do Tejo, it is a newly created space where you can practice water sports whilst admiring a beautiful flowered landscape.
