Faial, is the green, always the green mixed with the colourful blue of the hydrangeas, and the array of colours of marina and the many visiting yachts, on their voyage across the Atlantic; Pico, is the mountain that rises from the sea; the vineyards and groves emerging between the black lava; the whaling tradition; São Jorge is a fantastic watercolour of intense shades of green, cliffs that plunge straight to the sea and the ‘fajãs’ at the bottom;

Graciosa is gentle hills framed by the blue sea, black basalt walls covered with green vineyards, windmills and the opportunity to visit the interior of a volcano. A small island worthy of its name – graceful!

Flores is a garden surrounded by the sea; blue crater lakes formed by volcanic activity - nature at its most primitive exuberance.
