Utrecht belongs to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and, although it is one of the smallest provinces, its capital, the city of Utrecht, is one of the most important in the country. Another important monument in the city is the Cathedral, or Dom. Its 120-metre-high tower provides great views, while inside you can see its 14th-century cloister, the Kloostergang. The house of Rietveld Schröder, with its 20th-century architecture, has been declared UNESCO World Heritage and its forms part of the Centraal Museum.
