Cozumel is a Caribbean island off the Yucatan peninsula, in the southeast of Mexico. It belongs to the municipality of Quintana Roo and it is one of the largest and most populated of Mexican islands.

It has become a major tourist destination because of its beaches, its people and its many different attractions.
