Aguascalientes is a federal entity situated in the centre of Mexico, whose capital is the city of the same name, called so because of the amount of hot spring water that exists in the area.
Aguascalientes is famous for its annual celebration, the Feria Nacional de San Marcos (Saint Marcos National Fair), in which a series of activities take place, such as bull runs and cock fights.
