Port Antonio is the capital of the parish of Portland, about 100 kilometres away from Kingston on the Jamaican coast.
The main attractions in this lovely city are: Boston Beach, with its perfect surfing conditions; the parish of Santa María; the Nonsuch Fossilized Caves, where you will find shellfish, spongia officinalis, and a waterfall on a beautiful mountain; the Crystal Springs Resort, a pretty recreational park with woods, a botanical garden, orchids and even a bird sanctuary.
