Fasano is an Italian town in the province of Brindisi, in the region of Apulia. Fasano, like many other towns and cities in southern Italy, has an interesting old town, with alleyways, white houses, arches and lovely squares. We recommend a visit to the Main Church of Fasano, which is dedicated to St John the Baptist and dates from the 17th century. It has a Renaissance facade and inside it is possible to see Baroque altarpieces and Venetian and Neapolitan paintings as well as some fine wood carvings. You can also see the Baliale Palace, where you can see elements from the original building constructed in 1800; this is currently the Town Hall.
The town also has some lovely natural spaces, such as hills with green vegetation and some fantastic beaches. The most popular beaches are next to the cliffs of Savelletri, and here you can enjoy some peaceful coves with light-coloured sand and clear waters.
See this interesting Italian town, visit its museums and galleries, take a stroll in the zoo, visit Fasano!
