Wexford, the capital of the county of the same name, is located in the far southeast of Ireland, near the port of Rosslare.

The county has a number of coastal towns and villages like: Courtown, Curracloe, and Duncannon, with peaceful, sunny beaches. The range of accommodation is excellent: good hotels, smart guesthouses, bed and breakfasts, Georgian mansions, apartment rental, houses and comfortable campsites.

You can even go diving and see shipwrecks, or visit one of the world's oldest lighthouses.

See the lovely John F. Kennedy Arboretum, with more than 4,500 species of tree, or the Kilmokea Gardens. If you are looking for more active fun, then you can go to the Pirates Cove Adventure Park in Courtown, or Quad Attack in Clonroche, Enniscorthy.
