Cork is one of the counties of the Republic of Ireland. As much as the castle, the attraction is the famous Stone of Eloquence, or Blarney Stone, of which legend tells that kissing the stone will give the gift of eloquence. It has been kissed over the years by many a famous person in search of the gift.
