Room description
The resort has both lodge rooms and apartments, all with gas or wood-burning fireplaces. The units also offer balconies with views of the lake or ground level patios with beach access. Apartment units are located in two-storey, chalet-style buildings without lift access; lodge rooms are in a four-storey building with lift access to the upper floors. All rooms are non-smoking and include cable TV, DVDs and complimentary wireless Internet access. The décor varies and may include Lodgepole pine furnishings and earth-toned fabrics. Other amenities include an en suite bathroom with a shower, bath and hairdryer, a double bed, direct dial telephone, radio, tea and coffee making facilities and an ironing set. Individually regulated air conditioning and heating are also provided.

Small yet spacious, this resort near the state border lies secluded on its own private Lake Tahoe beach, but is still within a five-minute drive of Nevada casinos and the gondola to the Heavenly ski resort. The town centre of South Lake Tahoe is around 2.9 km, or a 5 minutes' drive, away. Guests can find restaurants and bars some 1-2 minutes' walk from the property. Shopping is available at the Bijou Shopping Centre, some 500 m from the hotel. Reno is around 95 km away, Sierra at Tahoe is some 28 km away, Northstar at Tahoe roughly 64 km away and the Squaw Valley roughly 59 km away.
