The island of Lombok is located in the Indonesian province of Nusa Tenggara Barat, close to Bali. The island is famous for its virgin beaches of crystal clear water, white sand and coconut palms. Visiting the island, you will find many Hindu and Balinese temples, as well as many buildings reflecting the local, Sasak, culture.
We recommend visiting the beaches of Kuta Kute, ideal for naturists and the Senggigi beach, with its lovely bays with white sands and impressive cliffs.
Furthermore, there are a number of islands near Lombok (30 minutes by boat), known as the “Gili” islands. All have magnificent beaches with coral and blue water and are great for divers. These three islands are called Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Gili Meno.
