General

This accommodation lies amidst sprawling gardens. The original building dates to the 19th century and to call it charming is an understatement. The newer buildings have been designed around two courtyards with a fabulous conservatory and terraces adding to the feel of light and space. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with a 24-hour reception desk, lift access, a cloakroom and a hotel safe. Dining options include a cosy bar and a stylish restaurant with highchairs available for children and it is possible to relax in the traditional English salon. Business travellers can take advantage of the business centre and its diverse conference facilities. There are room and laundry services available as well as parking spaces for those arriving by car.

How to get there

From the North (Bicester, Birmingham, Manchester, M42, M6) exit the M40 at Oxford services (Junction 8/8A). At the slip road roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted A418 to Aylesbury. After approximately 800 metres, turn right onto the A40 to Milton Common and Wallingford. The hotel is situated 2.4 km along on the left-hand side. From the South (London, High Wycombe) exit the M40 at Junction 7. Turn right, following the A329 towards Thame. Immediately after crossing over the motorway, turn left onto the A40 (in front of 'The Three Pigeons' public house). The hotel is situated 274 metres along on the right-hand side.
