The hotel dates back to the 18th century and has been restored in 1994 to maintain the old original look but at the same time combining modern facilities. Featuring a total of 7 rooms, the property is cheery and comfortably furnished. It has a lounge on the ground floor with a fireplace that heats up all the common areas. There is a small self-service bar and those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the car park.

How to get there
From the airport, take the motorway towards Funchal and Ribeira Brava. After exiting in Ribeira Brava, continue uphill on the road, following the signs to São Vicente. After passing Serra de Água, there is a tunnel that leads to São Vicente. Exiting in São Vicente, continue all the way down towards the centre of the village and at the 1st roundabout, exit into the first road on the right. Further on, there is another roundabout - pass and exit into the first road on the right. Continue and follow the sign 'Solar da Bica'. Go up the hill to the Igreja dos Lameiros church. Turn into a street on the left side just in front of the church tower and go up 150 metres to where the pink hotel building is located.
