We were a party of four (male) guests and requested 2 rooms with 2 single beds each. What we got were 2 rooms with rather small double beds, sleeping space was very very tight. Fortunately we only spent a few hours in these beds. No comments from hotel side to this issue.

If travelling from the airport by train get off at Station Zuid rather than Central. The hotel is then a 5 min. tram ride (no.5) or 20 min walk. Amsterdam is well worth a visit. We loved it!
The hotel was clean comfortable and quiet. At first we were concerned that it was too far out of town, however it really wasn't. We spent 3 nights visiting Amsterdam and walked everywhere. The staff were polite and helpful.
We booked a room only and paid extra for breakfast. The breakfast was fine and relaxing sitting by the canal, however it was very overpriced at E22 each!
The hotel is within easy walking distance of everything to do in Amsterdam. Only 10 mins. walk to Van Gough Museum.

Enjoyed the hotel very much, nice and quiet location. A bit out of the City Centre but with regular trams it was not a problem.

high prices for soo little. very unprofessional system. alot of things you dont find out until you check out many surprises there. movies and internet on hire very expensive to say the least you pay soo much just to have a place to sleep and your expected to pay soo much about 14 euros to watch a movie in your room overall unsatisfactory will not reccomend to friends travelling there will instead warn them away.

The hotel was fine, just. I was very unhappy about being asked to leave a 100 Euro deposit before check in. I was not told that was the hotel policy until I got there. I believe it's unacceptable not to say in advance that that's the hotel policy. For a £100 pounds a night I would expect al least free water in the room not overpriced small bottles in the minibar (3 Euro each). We were also charged 13 Euro for two national calls of no more than five minutes (that's both calls combined). I will never go back as I believe t's no value for money. I expected much more from a 4 star hotel, at least to be wellcome on arrival and not asked for a deposit as ff they didn't trust me to settle the bill. They kept telling that it's company policy and common practice among 4 and 5 star hotels but I've been to 4 and 5 star hotels before and never been treated like that.

very nice staff, helpful and smiling

Recption area was lovely.
Poor rooms on the 4th floor. Restaurant far too expensive to even entertain the thought of eating there.
