Room description
All of the hotel rooms enjoy sea or garden views, providing vistas of the Indian Ocean or the lush vegetation of the hotel's beautiful tropical gardens. They are all individually air-conditioned and have large windows and private balconies. Amenities include a direct dial telephone, a TV, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities and an electronic safe. The en suite bathrooms include a bathtub and shower, as well as a separate telephone and a hairdryer.
Sport activities description
There are two tennis courts, a fully-equipped gym and a health club including a sauna and steam bath, available for guests' use. In addition, guests will find an outdoor swimming pool, a poolside snack bar, beach volleyball, badminton, billiards and table tennis. Water skiing and windsurfing are available for an extra charge. Meal service description
The Palms coffee shop is the hotel's all-day dining restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and offering indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the swimming pool. For authentic Chinese cuisine, the hotel recommends dinner at the Oriental Pavilion. Mouth-watering Cantonese and Szechwan dishes are available too. The sea view restaurant offers intimate and cosy surroundings with an array of exotic sea food and continental dishes.

This beach hotel is located on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka along the ""Golden Mile"" of Bentota beach. Its unique setting on a large headland overlooks the Indian Ocean. The resort lies at the confluence of the river after which the village is named. Palm fringed beaches stretch for several miles along the coast and it is here where most hotels in the area are located. The hotel is just 40 miles south of Colombo, Sri Lanka's capital.
