Opened in 1968, this charming, family-friendly establishment has remained in the hands of the same family, being renovated and restructured in 2006. The hotel spreads over 4 functional buildings set near one another in extensive wooded parkland and comprises a total of 70 rooms. It is an ideal place for outdoor activities. There are various large meeting rooms ideal for leisure and entertainment purposes as well as reading and card rooms, a guest library and a cosy fireplace all with easy access for the disabled. Further facilities on offer to guests include air conditioning, a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, a bar, a TV lounge, a restaurant, a laundry service and parking.

The spacious bedrooms are fitted with standard furniture, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a double bed, a desk, a private bath or shower, individually adjustable air conditioning, central heating, a private fridge (no minibar), a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone and a TV. Many rooms have a small balcony or a private garden as well as panoramic views.

The hotel features an open-air pool with a children's area and sun loungers and offers an exciting range of activities such as trekking, horse riding, boat-trips, etc. Guests may also enjoy a game of pool or snooker at the hotel as well as trying their hand at windsurfing, canoeing or minigolf.

The hotel enjoys a perfect setting nestled among hills, 1 km from the centre of Lanusei with its links to the public transport network and shopping venues. It lies at km 90 on the main road S.S. 198, centrally located on the eastern side of Sardinia. Guests may reach the beach in only 20 min at Barisardo (18 km), Tortolì (22 km) and S. Maria Navarrese (30 km) as well as other wonderful beaches. Nearby the hotel guests will find high mountains, woods as well as natural caves and archaeological sites dating back to the Nuragic Era. The hotel is situated at 700 m above sea level, in a peaceful area at the foot of the Gennargentu Mountain, on a hill which offers panoramic views and overlooks the sea. Cagliari Airport is some 130 km away, and it is 160 km to Olbia Airport and 170 km to Alghero Sassari Airport.
