The rooms are decorated in colours reflecting the delicate hues the lake takes on at different times of the day. Sport activities description
30,000 square metres of botanical gardens surround the hotel on 3 sides. The splendid heated outdoor swimming pool, which overlooks the lake, is nestled in the greenery. Children can enjoy their own swimming area. Refreshments are served at the poolside snack bar (fees apply). Sun loungers and parasols are laid out for use. A range of activities are provided including diving, windsurfing, motor boating, sailing, canoeing, tennis, golf and biking (fees apply to all).
Meal service description
The hotel restaurant, which has been a member of the prestigious Buon Ricordo chain since 1969, is on the splendid large terrace directly overlooking the lake. In the centre there is a large open area and the verandas are surrounded by sliding glass walls that reveal the wonderful landscape. Beside a wide choice of Italian and international dishes guests can find the typical fare of traditional lake gastronomy; because it is also through the palate that one gets to know people and the area where they live. A breakfast buffet is served each morning at the hotel and lunch and dinner are offered buffet style, from set menus and à la carte.

The hotel is situated on the banks of Lake Maggiore with a wonderful botanical garden. The bus station is around 100 m from the hotel and the railway station is some 200 m away. The hotel is situated only 5 km from Stresa, with the Borromean Islands and Borromean Gulf, Monte Rosa, Switzerland and Milan Malpensa Airport.

From Milan: Take the motorway Milano-Laghi (A8) toward Sesto Calende-Gravellona Toce and continue following the signs for Alessandria (A26). Then leave the motorway at the toll exit Castelletto Ticino to the main road Sempione SS.33 toward Stresa Sempione. From Genoa: Take the motorway Voltri-Sempione (A26) toward Gravellona Toce and leave the motorway at the toll exit Arona. Continue on Sempione Road SS.33 toward Stresa. From Torino: Take the motorway Torino-Milano (A4) and continue following the signs for Gravellona Toce. Leave the motorway at the toll exit Arona and continue on Sempione Road SS.33 toward Stresa.
