Hotel description Club Vela
This pleasant hotel, just 3 storeys high and painted in the bright white style typical of the Bodrum area, is also something of a landmark in the resort due to its unusual tower in the architecture. Refurbished in the winter of 2011-12, there are 50 rooms and guests are welcomed into a lobby with a 24-hour reception service. Facilities include currency exchange facilities, a TV lounge, children's playground, a bar and a restaurant.
Room description
The rooms are simply decorated and have laminate parquet covered floors and colourful red curtains and bed covers. A hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning and a safe (additional charge applies) are provided and all rooms have a balcony. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower. A minibar and individually regulated heating are standard features in all accommodation units as well as free Wi-Fi.
Sport activities description
For active guests there is table tennis and a small gym. Guests can take a refreshing dip in the hotel's outdoor swimming pool which also has a children's swimming area and an interesting feature, with one end submerged under an overhang from the hotel, providing a shaded part of the pool for swimming in. There is a poolside bar/snack bar and sun loungers and parasols are laid out on the sun terrace. For an additional fee, sun loungers and parasols can be hired on the sandy beach.
Meal service description
Meals are served as an open buffet and there is also an à la carte option available for lunch and dinner.

The hotel is located in the heart of Gümbet, with shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The popular beach is just a 5-minute stroll and Bodrum can easily be reached by local transport, with the journey lasting approximately 15-20 minutes. Milas Bodrum Airport is roughly 35 km from the hotel.
