The building's character combines influences of Chinese housing, the lifestyle of the native Lanna people and Continental architecture. All building materials are from the native province of Chiang Mai so as to be in perfect keeping with the climate and also to retain a true sense of Lanna history. Renovated in 2009, the hotel offers 24-hour reception and check-out service, a breakfast room, Internet access, laundry service and a car park.
Room description
The hotel rooms are decorated in Lanna-Colonial style, popular with Chiang Mai bureaucrats of that era. The decorative items are made out of silverware and lacquer ware of Baan Wualai. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with shower, bath and hairdryer, and the bedrooms are furnished with either double or king-size beds.
