Good location. Fantastic view.
The rooms are old and not very clean, not a 5 star quality. The beach is not good. The food in hotel is over priced.

Island Hopping, not too far from Cable Car, it takes around 30 min to Mangrove Tour north of the island, but i think the location is good.
The rooms and hotel foyer are beautifully presented. The staff are very accommodating. Loved some of the cocktails I had at tides restaurant. Perfect place to relax in as langkawi itself doesn't have a lot to offer. The room definitely represents great value for money considering the only other comparable resort on the island is four seasons resort which is very expensive.
Trying to organise a yoga class was difficult. I had to call back because no one got back to me and the two days I was there it wasn't available. The gardens/landscape need to be updated to fit in with the rest of the quality of the hotel. Hotel transfers should be included for a 5 star resort. Some of the offers don't represent good value for money e.g. The mini deal. Most of the cocktails were awful particularly those that I ordered from the pool bar.
