This brand-new, luxury hotel is a member of the Design hotel chain and is located in the centre of Funchal. The city and business hotel lies in the historical area of town, which includes a number of restaurants and shops that are within walking distance of the accommodation. Guests will also find bars, pubs and nightlife spots nearby, as well as sights such as St. Catarina public gardens (2 minutes' walk), the cathedral (5 minutes' walk) and the old town (10 minutes' walk). Barreirinha beach is some 400 metres from the accommodation and Madeira Airport is 20 km away.

How to get there
From the airport: Take the Cota 200 highway towards Funchal. After approximately 20 km take the exit to Funchal Hospital and Porto (after 12 tunnels). At the roundabout, stay in the right-hand lane and take the 2nd turn on the right towards the hospital and Ave. do Mar. At the traffic lights turn left at the crossroads and follow the street straight ahead, with Funchal casino on the right-hand side. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit on the right and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (in front). Take the 1st right at the shopping centre corner 'Dolce Vita' and then take the 1st right, where another entrance for the shopping centre can be found. The hotel can be accessed from there.
