The hotel has been selected as one of the best 50 design hotels in the world. It occupies a class on its own and unites stylish accommodation with contemporary design. On offer are a total of 140 rooms, of which 136 are doubles and four are suites. Facilities available include a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a currency exchange facility, and lift access. The cosmopolitan Point restaurant and the art deco Monboddo bar offer a relaxing atmosphere and both classic and modern culinary specialities. Guests may further take advantage of the conference facilities and the public Internet connection, and room and laundry services complete the offerings.

Room description

The elegant and high-class rooms in minimalist design all come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, shower gel, and body lotion. Also provided as standard is a direct dial telephone, a colour TV, a radio, a writing desk, wireless high-speed Internet access, and either twin or double beds. A tray with tea and coffee making facilities and an iron and ironing board are also provided in all accommodation units. The central heating is individually adjustable.

Meal service description

Guests may select their breakfast from an ample buffet. Both lunch and dinner can be chosen from the set menus. It is also possible to book a bed and breakfast stay.

Comments from hotel

Stag nights are not permitted in the hotel. Bookings for other groups of single-sex persons can only be confirmed following registration and check. The hotel is entirely non-smoking. Check-in time at 2 pm and check-out time is before 12 noon.
