The 90-room city hotel formally consisted of three magnificent Regency private residences converted at the turn of the last century into beautifully presented accommodation where many rooms command stunning sea views. In addition to a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services and lift access to the upper floors, facilities available to guests at this establishment include a bar, pub, disco, theatre, TV lounge and a restaurant. Furthermore, wired and wireless Internet access and room and laundry services are also provided and there is a cellar for storing bicycles. Those arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park (charges apply).

Room description

Many of the en suite rooms come with sea views and are tastefully designed offering each traveller a home-away-from-home experience. All rooms are en suite with a shower, bathtub and hairdryer. Standard in-room amenities include a TV, radio, wireless Internet access and a modem link telephone, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, double or king-size bed and central heating. All rooms are non-smoking.

Sport activities description

The Brighton beachfront is a buzzing playground of swimming, surfing, sailing, basketball, volleyball, skateboarding and lots more. Away from the water there are plenty of spectator sports. Directly opposite the hotel on the beach is a wonderful children's play area complete with paddling pool, swings and sand pits. Furthermore, guests can head to the sauna or try their hand at a range of water sports, such as jet skiing, windsurfing, sailing, catamaran boating and canoeing (charges apply to all). Further options available for a fee include tennis, basketball, beach volleyball and bocce, as well as bowling and golf. There is also a gym, and programmes of entertainment are laid on for children.

The hotel enjoys a fantastic location in the heart of Brighton city centre, a stone's throw from the beach. The Brighton conference centre and Brighton's cosmopolitan nightlife are just moments away. Brighton Pier and The Lanes are about a 15-minute walk while various bars, pubs, shopping venues and the bus station are around 1 km away. The park at the Royal Pavilion and Brighton railway station are some 5 minutes away by public transport. London Gatwick Airport is approximately 48 km and London City Airport is some 77 km from the hotel. Southampton International Airport and London Heathrow Airport are around 99 km and 109 km from the establishment, respectively.

How to get there

By car: From London or the M25, take the M23/A23 all the way to Brighton then follow the signs for the seafront. Upon reaching the Brighton Pier roundabout, take the third exit and drive west, with the seafront to the left-hand side of the main seafront road, the A259 named Kings Road. Guests will find the hotel on the right just after West Pier and opposite the bandstand.
