Lovingly restored to stunning effect, the property fuses contemporary design and original period architecture with exceptionally caring and professional service. It is a historic mansion, once owned by the illustrious Earls of Clarendon. There are restaurants, and the 'Walled Garden' with urban beach and extensive leisure facilities. This air-conditioned country house hotel has a total of 217 rooms. Guests are welcomed to the family-friendly business hotel in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour check-out service, as well as a hotel safe, currency exchange and lift access to the upper floors. Younger guests can let off steam in the games room, kids' club (fees apply) and children's playground. Watford town centre is roughly 10 minutes by car and St. Albans is approximately 15 minutes away. Heathrow and Luton airports are within a 30-minute drive of the hotel and the train to London Euston takes 20 minutes.
