Hotel description The Gables
The hotel is a beautiful turn-of-the-century grade two listed building situated in the heart of Gretna. The hotel is in a quiet location within easy reach of many of the area's attractions. Both the accommodation and the restaurant provide a warm Scottish welcome to guests. The hotel features 4 function rooms for conferences or wedding receptions, and the bar leads into the garden, where a sheltered smoking area and outside seating area are provided for the hotel guests. Guests can choose from a total of 31 guest rooms. The hotel also provides a lobby, car park, room service (charges apply) and a laundry service.
Room description
All bedrooms are en-suite and centrally heated. Each bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and shower, as well as including a hairdryer. Other in-room amenities include tea and coffee making facilities, a direct dial telephone, an iron with ironing board, digital satellite TV, a double bed and complimentary toiletries. There are also rooms available, which offer disabled access.

How to get there
From Edinburgh please take the A8 to the A720 towards the M8. Take the M8 junction 1 to the M73 junction 2, head south towards the A74(M) to Gretna/Gretna Green. Follow the road and turn left at the Old Blacksmiths. At the roundabout turn right onto Annan Road (B721). The hotel is located after 400 m on the right, after the traffic lights.
